New York Update (1/18/22)
From Junior Tours:
We wanted to bring to your attention the most recently updated Covid policy released this week (Jan 10th) by the Broadway League. This update is mostly for ages 5-11 year olds and also that mask mandates are extended through April 30th:
Group Leaders: please note that you are required to communicate the below COVID-19 health protocols and safety guidelines to your group members.
FOR PERFORMANCES THROUGH APRIL 30, 2022 On January 10, 2022, the owners and operators of all 41 Broadway theatres in New York City announced they will continue to require vaccinations for audience members, as well as performers, backstage crew, and theatre staff, for all performances through April 30, 2022.
Under the policy, in addition to a valid ticket, to be permitted to enter the theatre all ticket holders must comply with the Covid-19 policies below:
Guests ages 12 and older need to be Fully Vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine AND present a government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. (Guests 12-18 may use a government-issued ID or school ID, no photo required.) “Fully vaccinated” means on the date of the performance a guest is at least 14 days after their second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (for international guests, two doses of any “mix and match” combination of an FDA or WHO approved COVID-19 vaccine is acceptable), OR at least 14 days after their single dose of an approved single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.
Guests ages 5 to 11 may enter the Theatre only when (1) accompanied by an adult who complies with the theatre entry requirements, and (2) are Vaccinated the same as a guest over the age of 12 (as defined above) with an FDA or WHO vaccine.
Guests under 5 are not permitted in the Theatre.
Masks are required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status.
